Artsyrc: Daily Inspiration Mori Girl

Ive been checking sites all over the net about the MORI girl..and How much it's taking my time and flaring my interest the moment i learned about them.

So according to the net Mori Girl is:
Mori (japanese term)- means Forest= Forest girl
There are several subculture fashions in Japan and this is only what caught me. They emerge around 2008/2009 in spoon and has been getting a lot of critics and interest. Some of them says boring, and dull looking girl with no social likings.

For some Mori is a new centuries little red riding hood.imagine a picture of a girl but with more delicate colors of garments with a twist of Alice in wonderland.Fantastical appearance.

Basically a girl in a city who seem to be living in a forest. Seen with layered dresses or in a loose single piece of cloth, vintage materials, coats, who loves forest, with a very natural looking make up. sometimes they actually dont put any. Their color preferences is pastel, beige, green, all earthy looking color. They are passionate about animals and flowers. They seem to be inlove with a simple breeze of wind, the smell of morning dew, everything that is coordinated with nature.They may look mystical as well;
Most likely seen with a camera in hand-but more opt to shabby looking one; with a journal to write on their little amazement; and or usually in the forest recreating their own world. Sometimes being alone reading somewhere.

So their style is extraordinary-out of trend. It is just simply amazing, beautiful, relaxing and sweet in their creative way. Some of them has crossed to mori to lolita looking that it's getting harder to recognize them. What i notice is they seem to be cold almost most of the time because multiple layered garments. A Mori Girl is not conscious in their figure when they wear their daily clothes on.

They sometimes get weird looks from others because of their quirky fashion sense, but they are still living the lifestyle they like without worrying what other's think. I personally believe they are brave enough to contradict the fast paced fashion influence we have nowadays.

These are few of my searches about them and that i decided to taste their lifestyle. I found a little home on this lifestyle they have and would love getting a try and see if i feel like it. The start is to look like a forest girl.
