OMG..I practically leapt on my seat when I remember I need to write my insights about this drama.
Let me tell you what I feel about this show..It’s one exhilarating show ever! I love it..I love it!
I cried when it ended not because it’s sad. I never wanted it to end so I know I must review this to remind on my future that I have watched this.

First thing first, this show almost entirely played backward, from future to discussion of how their past drove them together. The story is about friendship, first love and family. It captures a lot of vintage collection, tapes, pager, games- TAMAGOTCHI?! Hell yeah! I had one it died ealier than I thought, name it they have it.

This over heighted my expectation to typical kdramas, I am not usually possessive to male lead actor but for now I’m claiming him as my yeobo Yoon-jae ( Seo In-Guk) not buts! Isnt he has the most charming eyes ever?

It’s a full package with good actors, even the parents just crack me up, I’m telling you they are all hilariously classic people, But even so I was not deprived by skinship, I was just hoping they’d give a full heavy petting for Shi-Won and my yeobo Yoon-Jae, I will seriously bow to the writer for immediate action. The time transition is so well connected you won’t get lost, by the time they were in 1990’s they even changed style and idols too, how cool, creative and genius the people behind it. Bravo..bravo!

I remember watching The Wonder Years when it was early 2000’s, they have it on repeat fortunately on my favorite channel, and I remember so well of the emotion, turmoil of first love and first of everything. Reply 1997 relive it, it’s nowhere near a copy cat, it’s an original version of my favorite show, where all fan girls and teenage dilemma has its own ups and down. I don’t know if I was crying because of the tragic situation they are all in or it’s because I feel the sentiment as my own experience. Shi-Won faced all the changes with her own strength, realizing that there is a right time for love and a right time to find oneself. We’ve all gone through our own fight in the past it is a matter of how we fought for it and succeeded because we waited. Just like what Shi-Won did.

If there is a number 1 show I can recommend you, and that a show I am proud to have ever watched, this is it! This is the one.
